Maxine Robinson – 6th grade Cross Categorical Special Education Teacher
About Me: I was born and raised in Rome, New York (upstate), and I have lived in Colorado for over 30 years. I currently live in Aurora with my twin sister. I have one daughter Bianca Lee who lives in Los Angeles, CA.
This is my 10th year at Mrachek as well as in APS. Prior to APS, I taught in an Autism Center Based Classroom in Denver for 5 years. I am a graduate of Syracuse University and Metropolitan State College.
I co-teach in 6th grade literacy and math classes.
My job is to accelerate learning for every APS student every day. I do my job by providing a safe learning environment for students I work with. Working closely with teachers and special education team to ensure that every student’s academic, physical, and social emotional needs are being met.
