Miranda Hacker: SP/ED Teacher
About Me: I have lived in CO for about 10-years now. I was born and raised in Southern CA. I am married and together we have two great kids, well more like young adults now. Moving to CO has been the best decision my husband and I have done for our family. For many years I worked as a SP/ED Para-Professional in a Autism Classroom. Later on, I had received my degree to be a SP/ED Teacher as my children got older. For the past 6-years I have been teaching in Aurora Public Schools. This is my 3rd year at Mrachek Middle School. I am excited about our new school and the new opportunities it will provide for our students and staff.
My job is to accelerate learning for every APS student every day. I do my job by providing a safe learning environment for students I work with. Working closely with teachers and special education team to ensure that every student’s academic, physical, and social emotional needs are being met.
“My community needs me to do my Job.”
